What is the difference between fast and precise mode?
Fast mode copies the streams and cuts at the nearest keyframe, finishing in seconds with zero quality loss. Precise mode re-encodes so the cut lands on the exact frame you asked for.
Can I cut out the middle of a video?
Not yet. This tool keeps one continuous range. Trim the two parts separately and merge them in an editor.
Does trimming reduce quality?
Not in fast mode. Precise mode re-encodes at a high quality setting so any loss is imperceptible.
