Does lowering FPS reduce file size?
Yes. Halving the frame rate removes half the frames, which typically cuts size by 30–50% at the same quality.
Will the video play slower?
No. Duration stays the same; frames are dropped or duplicated evenly so timing is preserved.
Can I increase the frame rate?
You can, but frames are duplicated rather than interpolated. For genuinely smoother motion you need a dedicated interpolation tool.
