100MB is the form-field number

Job sites, university portals and a lot of CMS upload widgets still say “maximum 100MB”. Instagram also behaves better with a 100MB Reel than a multi-gigabyte camera file.

100MB holds several minutes of 1080p with room to spare. Use 50MB if you are on a weak connection, or 25MB for email.
