What X actually accepts
X allows up to 2 minutes 20 seconds and 512MB, but a 512MB file is slow to post and often fails on mobile. 50MB is the size that usually publishes on the first try.
Use H.264 MP4. WebM and HEVC-only files still fail in a lot of clients. This preset converts while it compresses.
If the clip is longer than 2:20, trim it on this page first. X will reject the extra seconds even if the file is small.
