Why MOV files break on the web

iPhones still save MOV. Many browsers, Discord, Google Slides and Windows Media Player open MP4 and stall on MOV, especially with HEVC inside.

If the video is already H.264, this tool remuxes into MP4 without re-encoding — often in a second. HEVC or odd audio is transcoded with the hardware encoder.

The file never leaves this device. That matters for camera originals you would not upload to a random converter.
